Heat Networks Code of Practice Training
This is a two day course aimed at providing an understanding of the technical themes and challenges dealt with in the Code of Practice, and how to apply the Code of Practice to projects. Following the course there is the opportunity to take an exam which allows entry to the Heat Networks Consultant register.

- Gain an understanding of the key requirements and objectives for each stage of heat network development.
- Gain an understanding of the application of the code to different types of heat networks.
Who is this course aimed at:
This course is intensive and requires a high level of knowledge. Whilst we do not have formal entry requirements for the Heat Networks Consultant register, in our experience applicants with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience are more likely to be successful with the assessment. Please review the course competencies and pre-assessment sample exam questions below to determine your suitability. A reading list is also provided.
This course will be run at the Edinburgh Training and Conference Venue, which is situated in the centre of Edinburgh, just 5 minutes walk from Waverley Station and close to major bus routes, including the airport bus. Discounted parking is available at the St John's Hill NCP Car Park. Our training rooms are light and spacious, all are air conditioned with natural daylight.
Complimentary breakfast and lunch will provided, as well as tea and coffee throughout the day. If you've got any special dietary requirements just let us know, ideally in advance, and we will be pleased to cater for them. Our team will be there on the day to make sure everything goes smoothly.
