By train

Leave Waverley Station via the Market Street exit, taking the steps down to Market Street. Alternatively, you can leave via the main pedestrian exit onto Waverley Bridge, then turn left and left again onto Market Street. Continue along Market Street, passing under the large decorated bridge.

After the bridge, bear right onto Jeffrey Street and walk up the hill past Jury’s Inn to the junction with traffic lights at the High Street.

Once on the High Street (the Royal Mile), cross the road onto St Mary’s Street (a continuation of Jeffrey Street). The training centre is located further down the hill on the left-hand side, opposite the Travelodge.

If you reach the Travelodge, you have gone slightly too far. We are located between Guajira Café and Mary’s Café Bistro, opposite Gordon Nicolson Kiltmakers.

We recommend checking schedules in advance to ensure smooth travel, especially during peak hours.

By car

If you are arriving by car, there are three multi-storey car parks just a few minutes walk from Edinburgh Training and Conference Venue. We have a concessionary rate at the Holyrood Road, EH8 9UL, NCP car park.

Receive a 10% discount at the Holyrood Road NCP car park: To get your 10% discount, validate your parking ticket with our Receptionist.

Please also be aware of Edinburgh city centre’s Low Emissions Zone (LEZ). The NCP Car Park is outside of the LEZ restricted zone, so no matter what make or model you have, there is parking close by for you.

By air

Edinburgh Airport

Outside the main airport terminal you will find: a rank for airport taxis, an airport bus stop and a tram stop, all of which bring you into the centre of town, and just a short walk to the venue.

By taxi

We would advise you to give clear instructions to the taxi driver and specify that the venue is situated on St Mary’s Street. That way, you won’t run the risk of ending up at one of the other conferencing venues in Edinburgh (as has unfortunately happened to some of our previous delegates).

Central Taxis: 0131 229 2468

Our address is in Central Taxi‘s booking database. By choosing them, you can be sure you will be heading straight here. If you require a pick up from the venue, we are always happy to book one for you, just pop into reception.

By tram

There are two stops near the venue:

St Andrew Square: Head down the hill towards Princes Street, where you will see Waverley Train Station and can follow the walking directions from there.

Princes Street: Walk past the National Gallery, which is across the road, towards Waverley Train Station, from there you can follow the walking directions.

If you are taking the tram from any stop in Edinburgh or the airport, please ensure you buy your ticket before boarding the tram, or you will be fined £10.
